She kneels down beside the princess, and carefully unwraps the items in the chest.
A small, lapis tiara comes out of the wrappings, glinting in the sun, and sparkling brightly. Next are a pair of... glass?... slippers, small heels clicking against the tiles as they are set down on the floor before the princess. Next is a necklace, a sky-blue, silk cord from which hangs a small, brilliant blue amulet, with matching earings. Then an ornamental dagger, tactfully jewelled in both blade and handle, shaped like a unicorn's head, and very beautiful. Then, she unfolds the last wrappings, and lifts out a gown. The silk does not rustle like most silk, is so soft it's like touching water, and is so blue, it seems to belong with the sky. An aura seems to surround the gown, and faint hints of perfumed gardens, a warm hand, and soft lips can almost be sensed, but drift away from awareness like a small flower's scent, only to fade back again. Perhaps it's magic. Or perhaps it's an illusion caused by the perfect, delicate beauty of the gown.
"This is the first and last gown I ever owned. The woman who gave it to me was as close as a sister, and I loved her very much." The wistful, sad look returns momentarily, but vanishes again.
"The jewelry; the tiara, earings and pendant, they're sort of... a fairy joke, as are the slippers. They don't really do anything, but it was fun to have them, when I was a child. My mother gave them to me, telling me that her mother gave them to her. The dagger was my father's." She smiles, and draps the gown over the chest, so the sun catches it. "Well, what do you think?" she asks.
