A crime against Gaia, God or moral and virtuous. A small group of Pentex elite researchers in their biochemistry and genetics branch have done something even more perverse then when a wayward Vampire tries to embrace Gaia�s defenders and chosen into their perpetual ranks of the undead nights.

Through genetic engineering, pure and blasphemous DNA splicing, manipulation and mutation. A goal that had failed scores of times in the pass decades at various top secret labs, ending the lives of many of Shapeshifters in tragic painful experiments and test. Then the link was found and Gaia�s blessing spat upon when as one of the research staff put it upon their success, �Who needs to be blessed in the day and age of Science.� a rhetorical question to an almost malevolent question.

Using the DNA of a Fomori, plus various chemicals and �items� abstracted from an Ananasi and Rokea specimen that were destroyed shortly afterwards. The first embryo of the �Violet Hinds� project was conceived and incubated to the research teams delight, their years of constant work having finally given way to what shouldn�t had been.

The fusion of the lethal and cunning predator of predators, plus the often silent, guile stalker amongst webs. Produced an abomination beyond anything anyone could have believed possible, a sterile creature kept away like a simple project deep in a lab known as �Genetic Works�.

Only banes would delightfully respond to such a creature, all others shun it for the obvious crime it is. Surprisingly enough the Hinds is a creature of it�s own creation and not the suffering split desire creature the research prediction lead the research team to believe it would turn out to be, though this also lead to a strange array of abilities.

In Crinos form (If that is what it can be called.) The hinds stands 7'4 and resembles a mixture of both forms in a bizarre combination of both races it stole it�s existence from. The face though smaller then any other Rokea, have the same facial structure, including the large gaping maw of razor sharp teeth but also insect like mandibles on each side of it�s mouth. Also under it�s tongue is located one of it�s web glands which functions properly as any other would. It�s eyes always two gleaming ambers of violet, four arms lines it�s torso with large three fingered hands lined with razor sharp claws. A large dorsal fin extends down it�s spine where just below exist another web gland, it�s flesh is a virtual exoskeleton covered with dark brown fur like a tarantula and black horizontal stripes across it�s back.

Crawler is a disturbing appearance out of a dark and disturbed nightmare, the upper half of the shark with it huge gapping maw but with 4 pairs of gleaming eyes. 4 spider like legs plus it�s hind quarters and the same large dorsal fin which grace it�s Crinos form. The flesh becomes more serrated like that of a sharks. In Crawler form it is able to climb the surface of walls and ceilings able to support it�s weight.

Abilities:
Kraken��s Beak:* Using this Gift, the Rokea calls upon the power of Kraken to shield his snout with a spirit-shell, and may then use this ��beak�� to make ramming attacks.
System: The Rokea must spend two points of Rage to create the ��beak��, and swim at full speed towards the target and make a Dexterity + Brawl roll at difficulty 7. Base damage for the attack is Strength + 4, and unlike and ordinary body slam or ram, there is no risk of injury to the attacker, thanks to the spirit-beak. Each success on the attack roll adds one to the damage, and armour is reduced by three against the attack.

Boreteeth: The teeth of sharks are wickedly barbed, and fixed only loosely within their mouths, with rows and rows of replacements lined up within their maw. When they bite, the teeth catch in their prey, and some inevitably fall out. Karkha with this Gift can cause these shed teeth to move within the flesh of their foe, digging deeper and deeper.
System: The Rokea spends two points of Rage after making a successful bite attack, then rolls Stamina + 3, difficulty of the target��s Stamina. The teeth dig into the victim for one turn per success, inflicting 2 Health Levels of aggravated damage (difficulty 9 to soak, armour and bonuses for tough hides etc are inapplicable) each turn.

Shock Touch (4 pts) - The Fomor is a living battery, capable of generating powerful jolts of electricity that can harm both living creatures and electrical equipment.
System: The Fomor rolls Stamina + Athletics difficulty 7 and spends a willpower point. This does one dice of aggravated damage per success to anyone touching the Fomor. It also determines the amount of damage done to any electrical system.
One Success - scrambles system for the turn
Two Successes - scrambles system for the scene
Three Successes - destroys normal systems
Five Successes - destroys tempest hardened systems

Iron Web: The Ananasi can spin webs that are nearly transparent and very tough. By spending a blood, a Gnosis and winning a simple test, the Ananasi can spin a web that is very tough. The webbing can soak with 7 traits and has 5 health levels. When all the health levels are gone, it is destroyed.

Spinnerets: The Ananasi with this power have developed their web spinning power to a new level. They can spin webs in any form and it is much thicker and stronger than normal webbing. It is almost a quarter inch in diameter, but is very hard to see (static mental challenge against 8 traits). It takes a fair amount of strength to break a strand (a static challenge against 6 traits). If the strands are woven together they make a strong stand indeed (6 traits x number of strands = trait total for challenge). Most Ananasi are proficient in the arts of web spinning and use this power to imprison prey, set traps, seal things off, lower or raise themselves, capture opponents or other such things. To activate this gift, one blood must be spent. The maximum that can be created from the expenditure of the one blood is roughly enough webbing to fill a 40ft. Square area or lower the Ananasi from a 300 ft height.

Visceral Agony: By spending One Gnosis, one blood pt. and winning a simple test (retest with occult) the Ananasi may cause the wound penalties from its claws to double, or if the victim doesn't suffer from them, it suffers them as normal. This only applies to the damage inflicted by the Ananasi; the penalties from earlier wounds are not effected.

Violet is not actually a real Shapeshifter as in the meaning of the soul, the spirit is what makes a Garou a Garou, a Croax a Croax and so on. A spirit cannot be cleaved in two, and a shapeshifter can never actually be two. Physically she has the appearance of changing and the Formori DNA is what helps keep her genetic coding together. She was spliced with the DNA of two races, not their spirit. Even the abilities she hold are only the physical appearance of the actual gifts, they resemble them through physical manipulation. Most likely only Banes would try and common with Violet, and she must becareful not to be corrupted even with her good heart.
