Personally, I like VASL because of its ease of use, and imo quick gameplay once the learning curve has been finished. VASSAL, which VSQL looks nice too. Although the one time i tried to play on it, the main server was down, and the backup server doesnt see players behind firewalls. My opponent was blocked out as a result. So we played our scenario on VASL.
