Cool ... and welcome to the fun! And remember, no question is ever a silly question.

As an aside, there have been many groups of SL players playing by their own interpretation of the rules and having a lot of fun, the most importnat thing is for everyone to be playing by the _same_ rules. Of course, international and internet play makes standardization a bit more importnat, but there are many who are willing to help. Just ask on the SL Mailing List!

Okay. I just want to be sure that I am accurate in my replies.

The rest? At this point Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Epsilon are fully playtested and available here on advancephase.com ... The last of the TTS scenarios (Zeta) has been fully tested at the basic level and almost fully tested at level one, as of September, 2003. I will soon have this Zeta-0 available here, as well.

Once one plays through all six of these scenarios, almost everything in the SL rulebook will have been treated effectively in the TTS scenarios (I think Snow, River Crossings, and Rubble/Fire are the only rules not covered). Then it is onto more fun with any scenario one wants to choose. I will continue to work on new situations for the community to try, including the planned four (three more) "Grand Tactical Series" scenarios.

And of course, once you've sampled the tactical issues through the TTS scenarios, I would strongly encourage trying any/all of the original 12 SL scenarios! They are not all well-balanced, but most of them are a lot of fun to play. :-)
