Subject: Squad Leader: Parts missing?

As a general assist to all those who have recently acquired a copy of Squad Leader, or pulled out a copy that they have owned for years. Here are some suggestions:

1) On-line there are a couple of places that contain lists of what should be in each Squad Leader box, also available are lists of what should be in the CoI, CoD, and GI:AoV gamette boxes.

2) Squad Leader is still protected by US copyright laws, so copies of things like the rules or scenario cards are not available on-line and past and current copyright holders have made an effort ot keep these items off of the internet.

3) One valid option is to befriend your "regional contact" to see if some sort of personal-use arrangement can be made. If you don't seem to have a regional representative in your area, contact me (Alan Yngve) and I may be able to direct you to someone. Bill Thomson also keeps a list of names and localities at SQLA, although these are rarely updated.

4) If you have an older version of the rules (before SL fourth or CoI fourth), please follow the link on this site (in Player Tools) to view a copy of the rules updates that were published by Avalon Hill in subsequent gamettes listing the edition changes to those base rules.

And finally, if there is something that you need that doesn't seem to be available, ask! Best place might be on the SL Mailing List, but here on this Forum is also an option.

In the end there is but one goal, enjoying the challenges provided by the game of Squad Leader!

-- Alan
