I don't think you had it wrong at all. I'm looking at it right now, and the LOS thread does not intersect any woods in O5, especially not if you use the rule that says an obstruction must be visible on both sides of the string. I think that's an error, and I'd ask for at least a coin toss.

The larger problem I'm seeing is that the LOS string in VSQL simply doesn't go from center point to center point when you tell it to snap to grid. As a result, it says that 4P2 to 4J2 is blocked by the woods in K2, and the line is visibly drawn about three pixels south of the hex spine it should be drawn down. Is there a fix for this other than zooming in, turning off snap to grid, and using your eyes?
