Subject: 43 pound striper wins Region III

The Region III championship was won by Greg Willingham with one 43 lb. striper. The next total weight down was 28 lbs with a two fish weigh in. The fishing was tough with most of the fish I found hanging in the timber and only coming out on occasion to feed. 3 of the 4 Kansas teams fishing were in the money at the final weigh in with Jay Rapp finishing somewhere around the top 5 to much happening I don't recall exactly! Despite the tough fishing we had a great time and are ready to head for Lake Lanier Georgia Dec 5-6 for the national chamionship.
