Hey Eddie, I have been going to post but too tired and a bunch of stuff to catch up on since I got home. 3 of the Kansas teams fishing this event finished in the top ten "Way to Go Kansas" but to answer your question no we didn't catch any BIG fish. The locals outfished us at this event with a 49 # striper only taking third place.

Hugh Anstett "Threes too many" took 6th , Bill Keith "Just Family" was just under him and Jack and Gina Hoskinson "Team Madd Jack" finished 9th!

The first day of the tournament Gina and I caught allot of stripers but just couldn't get a big one to go. We had a NSBA camera man on the boat all day so I expect some of that footage will be on a upcoming Striper Fishing USA.

Team Madd Jack did receive it's Kansas State Champion trophy, and divisonal tropy for Lake Skiatook. Jay Rapp team "Solar Flare" took home the Lake Wilson divisonal trophy as well as Paul and Jeni Bahr "Striper Sniper" who won the Lake Milford divisonal tropy.

The fishing was tough for many teams who did not even weigh in. The lake had receive allot of rain before we got there and they started lowering the lake 6 hours before the tournament started!

I thought NSBA put on a class act for us despite the lack to support from many who qualified. We are on to the Nationals the first week in Dec. at Lake Cherokee Tenn. and hope to do much better there.

With only one tourament left for the year it looks as if Gina has won the Lady Angler of the Year. She will receive that prize and trophy at the Nationals.

Too those that did fish this event I give you all a big thumbs up. Kansas does have some great fisherman who are not afraid to compete and share there knowledge.

Jack Hoskinson
Team Madd Jack
