Subject: Upcoming meeting and events

Greetings and Happy Holidays to all, Just a short note to inform everyone that we are working on scheduling our annual meeting for either the second or third weekend in Jan. and we will have it either in Ellsworth or Salina. Sorry to be so unsure but we are still working out the dates and accommodations. There will be a newsletter soon.
We are also working on a booth at the Sport Boat and Travel show in Feb. and are in need of volunteers for this event, so anyone who would like to donate there time and have some fun please let me know. Tournament dates for next year need to be decided as soon as possible and it has been suggested to drop a few dates, the August tournament for one.
A boat load entry fee is another suggestion and I for one think it is the way to go, TSA has a $80 per boat for TSA members which seems like a good number to me. Another suggestion is to allow a fun event along with our regular tournaments with a $40 per boat load entry, this would not pay back as much but would let those who have been complaining about the entry fee fish for allot less! Another advantage to the boat load fee is that the boat could only win one prize which would spread the winnings around more.
If there are any other suggestions please call or email me and we will put them on the agenda, 2004 has been a great year with 18 new club members! Lets see if we can double that in 2005!

Sincerely,
Jack Hoskinson
KSA Pres.
