Alan Murphy wins KSA Milford Sept. 18,19

I has taken me awhile to get this posted but better late than never. Our third Lake Milford tournament was well attended with 51 entries and 3 traveling out of state teams. George Good Team Happy Hunter came from Texas as well as Gary and Carol Lock Team Sea Perch. Paul GIESENHAGEN and crew team Striper Crew traveled in from Missouri.

Saturday morning started out with high winds and an incoming thunderstorm which kept many off the water for the first light bite. The Saturday noon weigh-in only had 6 fish weighed in. Many reported catching smaller wipers which were released in hopes of catching a larger fish.

NSBA day one ended with Alan Murphy 6'12'' leading the KSA field and Paul Bahrs Team Striper Sniper with a 6'2'' was good enough to win NSBA day one. Many wipers came to the scale at the 10 PM weigh-in.

NSBA day two had 18 wipers come to the scale at noon with Jack and Gina Hoskinson Team Madd Jack winning NSBA day two with a 6'7''Wiper.

The Top 4 KSA finishes were Alan Murphy First place, Gina Hoskinson Second place, Paul Bahr Third place and Ed Dewitt Fourth Place.

Many members suggested having a second tournament on Milford in May or June and with the attendance we are having at this event I think we would be unwise not to do so.
