Subject: Striper Bass Classic, Lake Cherokee, Tenn

For those of you that don't fish the NSBA end of our tournaments here is what you will be missing!
Monday November 29, 2004:
Pre-fish Practice Day-1: No one on the water prior to 2:00PM. (The lake may be closed from Thanksgiving until today.)
Site Setup: 8:00AM until finished

Tuesday November 30, 2004:
Pre-fish Practice Day-2: All participants may be on the lake all day.

Wednesday December 1, 2004:
Pre-fish Practice Day-3: All participants may be on the lake all day.

Early Arrival Dinner & Seminar 6:30 p.m.: (Getting Sponsors by Kim Austin of Minn-Kota and other NSBA sponsors) Holiday Inn, 3304 West Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, (423) 581-8700. All participants are encouraged to attend. Dinner Buffet $8.95 per person.

Thursday December 2, 2994:
Pre-fish Practice Day-4: All participants may be on the lake until 2:00PM.

Sponsors & VIP Appreciation “Braggin’ Rights” Tournament: All members may participate, but GCS Contestants must be represented in this event. Hours are from 9:00AM until 2:00PM.

2004 Shakespeare Striper Tour Awards Dinner & Ceremony: VFW Building, take exit 2B off Hwy 25E. VFW Building at 2503 E. Andrew Jackson Hwy, (Presentation on the specifics on Lake Cherokee from well known local expert, Mr. Ezell Cox) All teams must be represented. We will award divisional, state, regional and other awards. We will draw for the Sundance Boats Family Fishing Team-of-the-Year 22-foot Sundance Skiff and trailer, valued between $10,000 and $16,000. Sundance may add motor to prize. We will draw for the Boater’s World Big Fish of the Year and award $10,000 to the winners. In each competition, we will draw 10-tickets (call out the semi-finalists), have some fun, and work down to a winner.

Friday December 3, 2004:
Competition Day-1: All participants may be on the lake until 4:00PM. Non-GCS Contestants weigh-in first, beginning at 3:00PM.
STRIPED BASS CLASSIC National Championship Day-1 Weigh-in: All non-GCS participants will weigh in any order as they arrive. Weigh-in will be 1-fish per team. If team is in GCS, they will weigh-in last (See below).
GCS Team-of-the-Year Points Championship: All GCS participants weigh-in last in reverse order of their points standing. Team remaining after the conclusion is the winner. (Prize Blue Wave (24’) boat, motor, & trailer and TOTY Trophy valued at $30,000). Weigh-in will be 2-fish per team. If team is in National Championship, their largest fish will count. The points system will be the highest 5 of the 7-tournaments, plus 10-points for each tournament fished (Must attend tournament weigh-in to get credit for 10-points), plus 2-fish of Day-1 of STRIPED BASS CLASSIC weigh-in.
Saturday December 4, 2004:

Competition Day-2: All participants may be on the lake until 4:00PM.
The weigh-in begins at 3:00PM.

STRIPED BASS CLASSIC National Championship Day-2 Weigh-in: All non-National Championship participants and those not in the National Championship Top-15, will weigh in any order as they arrive. GCS Contestants will weigh in up to 2-fish per team. National Championship participants will weigh in 1-fish per team. If team is also in GCS, they will weigh in 2-fish (smallest first). All participants in the Top-15 from Day-1 will weigh in reverse order of their Day-1 National Championship standing. Team in the boat at the end win the 21-foot Sea Pro CC bay boat, trailer and motor valued at $35,000.

GCS Top Team Final Cut: Only the Top GCS teams will go on to Day-3. There is only 2-way to get to Day-3. First, a team must be ranked in the Top-10 in the points system using the highest 5 of the 7-tournaments, plus 10-points for each tournament fished (Must attend tournament weigh-in to get credit for 10-points), plus 2-fish of Day-1 and 2-fish of Day-2 of STRIPED BASS CLASSIC weigh-in. Second, be in the Top-10 of the standings of the GCS Freshwater World Championship using aggregate weight of 2-fish of Day-1 and 2-fish of Day-2. NO PURGING! All GCS teams must stay for Day-3.

Sunday December 5, 2004:
STRIPED BASS CLASSIC GCS Freshwater World Championship Day-3: All GCS participants weigh-in last in reverse order of their standings using the aggregate weight of 2-fish of Day-1 and 2-fish of Day-2 and the 2-fish of Day-3. Weigh-in will be 2-fish per team. All participants making the cut will weigh in reverse order of their aggregate weight. Team still in the boat will win the title and prize (23-foot Sea Pro WAC, hard top, enclosure, trailer, and motor valued at $45,000.
