Subject: Two Big Tournaments

Hello Everyone, Well 2004 is underway with our April tournament behind us. Considering the weather and the fact that several of our regulars had other commitments for that weekend, I think we had a great turn out, 27 entries in April is pretty good. I would also like to welcome Darrin and Bo to the club and way to go with your walleye win. With the changes we have came up with this last year we are still working out the rough spots but should have it all worked out soon. I hear a few complaints thru the grapevine, most of which are pretty lame, these complaints are of a selfish nature by people wanting to keep the club all to them selves! KSA was founded to promote and preserve striper fishing in the state of Kansas and that is exactly what we are doing at this time. With our partnership with NSBA it exposes Lake Wilson and Milford to the striper fishing public nation wide. Shoot I have talked to Kansas people at boat shows who fished Texoma but didn't even know Kansas had stripers!

I am very excited about the next two upcoming tournaments, NSBA Wilson on May 22, 23 and the June 12,13 $1000 guaranteed first place. I have been contacted by several new people about these events and also a few of our past members will be coming back to fish with us again. So with this new and old interest in our tournaments growing I for one think we are on the right track.

Our winning youth prize for the year will be a lifetime Kansas fishing license, I wish I had gotten one of those years ago. So bring your kids, grandkids, neighbor kids anyone who wants to fish. We need to pass along our love of fishing to the next generation and give them a chance at this great prize. This is also a great way to preserve striper fishing for the future generations.

Sincerely, Jack Hoskinson
KSA Pres.
