Hey Keith, If you want when Ice fising starts why don't you just come up and I will go with you? That way I don't get carppel tunnel typing! Yes we use spoons and jigs, Safety is of course #1, ice cleats are a plus, I rarely wear them but allot do, a piece of carpet to stand on is good. Dressing in layers keeps you warmer. A sled is good to haul your stuff on, and other than safety the #2 item is never, never eat yellow snow. Just let me know when your coming and I can give you some ice fishing 101, Thanks, Jack
