So there I was, working away on one of the Gungahlintech Office machines, clearing email and the like, when it Blue Screens.

Not a problem thinks I been a while since the last one.

So I reboot, and work happily away. A few weeks later, another BSOD. Then a week after, another. So, I sit down with a calender and realise that it's been over 3 years since I last rebuilt the software on this machine in particular. Not a problem thinks I been a while since the last one.

So I sling the box in the car and take it into work. Once there, I get it up on the bench, and the first thing I do it get it on the network and copy off the important stuff onto a network drive that get's backed up nightly. Then I run Ghost across it and take an image of the drive.

After the morning coffee, I start the rebuild, starting with Windows 2000. Part way through the rebuild, The Clunk occurs. It's the Clunk that makes your stomach drop and your throat swell until you realise you just lost an entire drive full of data. Not a problem thinks I been a while since the last one.

So I look across at the Box, and notice that the box is still happily installing Win2K. In a pure John Woo moment, through the wonders of Excorporeal Excursion, my spirit takes a 100 camera pan around the room to the Ghost server, which has Blue screened with a failed Hard drive. The Drive with all the backed up data on it.

Some days, you just don't need to get up, cause, hell comes along for the ride.

So, if those that want to can email me so I have their updated email address, that would be great. I'm going to go and crawl under the bed with a teddy bear for a while
