Och, tell me about it. The act of paying a song tribute by recreation has descended from earnest reperformances, to bizarre squeaky reperformances, to playing it out of order with a background track from a Hammond organ in the background. There have been some good covers over the years (Madness' It Must Be Love springs to mind), but also some decidedly naff ones.
