No... that's something I never developed.

I really don't know why, but when people do that somehow it reminds me of when a baby's born and the doctor always whacks the baby on the bun... I think it's to help clear the fluid the baby's been breathing while in the womb from his/her lungs...

Probably has something to do with my belief about the association between my smoking, my mother's smoking, and the Separation Anxiety. Of course, my views associating cigarettes and smoking to these kinds of things don't work for most smokers... probably since it appears that so many smokers smoke with the belief that it's a reflection of their independence and autonomy. Although I think you can even make those beliefs largely consistent with the possibility of the beliefs I have... but, it obviously just doesn't seem to work for many.
