This question I will gladly answer. I have a multitude of health problems to start with (diabetes, peripheral neuropathy, autonomic neuropathy, thyroiditis, chronic fatigue syndrome, restless leg syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, do I need to go on?) Until last month, my husband didn't know that I smoked. I did a good job at hiding it from him for 13 years. But I decided to tell him on New Years Day.
The main reason I decided to tell him was because of my health. As strange as it may seem, I actually FEEL BETTER when I smoke. It relaxes me to the point where I am able to tolerate my pain better. There may come a day when it does cause health problems for me, but right now it does more for me than all the prescription medications I take on a daily basis.
