RIGHT THEN YOU LOT.HERE'S HOW THIS WORKS....
The program is being put together NOW. I have given all of you more than fair notice that you need to provide information and pictures to me, and now i am giving you fair notice, that if i haven't had yours, you won't get any coverage in the program.
I have now decided, that anyone who has provided info to me will get a small featurette on their team in the race program. Those of you who have supplied a photo but no info will get a picture of your boat and your names on one page listing all such teams, those of you who haven't even suplied a photo will not even be able to have that, as i need a picture to complete the designs. If i have no picture, i can't put your team in. So, don't any of you not supporting this moan at me later in the season because your team's not in it - we've run out of time, so sorry guys, but its bad luck to you and thanks to everyone else!!
i would suggest a last attemp by all of you to get hold of a royalty free picture to use - or go and take one - yes, even if its just on the trailer in your garage! You have two days to let me know if you want to be included - i will reserve a space until the end of the week if you contact me saying this is in hand. For your information, we are aiming to put local teams on the covers of programs where possible - first come first served though - you can get royaslty free prints from rene de ville and kieth slater if you just phone them, they cost around £40-£50 but you can use them royalty free - and so, might discover your boat being used nationally to promote the racing. Please bare in mind that you are already benefitting from your new sponsors....free bars etc - and that without your help on this we will not be promoting the sport to its full potential. If anyone has sponsors that would like to advertise or sponsor a feature/photograph of your boat for the remaining 8 program covers available, please let myself, dad or peter roberts know as soon as possible.
