Yes, i've made quite a few boards it's hard to explain...but i'll explain anyway.

You need to do alot of stuff to make em' better for playing. Is this the first board you've ever made? If so i can explain all the other stuff too.

First login at voy boards on their homepage, after you've logged in go into "GENERAL FORUM SETTINGS" and there you can type a header (So you can have an intro to the board or whatnot.) and you can type a footer too. Make sure you check off reverse threads and then below that option there is allow html in messages you want that too. The below that there's a section for the color just click on the option and choose the colors, any ol' colors that are listed. There easy as pie. If you don't get it...I can do it for you if you want. Hey make your page with geociites if you don't know alot of html...it's really easy..heh heh heh
