After 4 1/2 years chumpstate are finally gonna call it a day.
We formed in john Willmott school as a school jamm band in the music room with, Ainsley ( in it for abotu a week), Richard Cambell, russell vale and ike, moving on playing gigs at the foundry red rose, flapper, etc, and then Richard left,then russell, and sean , myself and Kieran were recruited, this line up stayed whilst we made our album, and then kieran and sean left after a year or so. We took a break in which i joined/formed surplus. after 4 months i took a break from surplus in which me and ike then played some drum and bass sets around birmingham before auditioning singers and guitarists, Phish and ollie were found, and the band changed to writing hardcore, we played feeny fest and continued on. Then i took up surplus again, and isaac got an offer from douglas to drum which he accepted in cardiff.
Ike being the founder member we all agree that there is little point in carrying on. However we will be recording a cd at the request of ollie, which friends and ne1 who is interested may have a copy. thankyou to every1, friends family, fans, enemies for being there, and hope every1 will support the members in their new directions.
