Due to other engagements in my life im havin to retire as bass player from SURPLUS, MY LAST GIG IS ON THE 30TH April at the flapper and firkin in birmingham supportin a band called Rupert. id love to see everyone their to give me a good send off.

New bass players are bein tried out and the choice will be announced at the gig. (If you wanna be tried out reply to the message)

I feel very sad to leave the band as me phish and rud have been giggin together for over a year now and were the founder members along with Al arnott of Surplus Dissorder which become SURPLUS, its part of life! life seems unfair to me, first my voice packs in now im bein told i cant play bass hehe but anywayz!

dont worry though the band will be carryin on strong and we have more gigs booked up ready to kik ass in! the contacts i have made have assured me that we have got more local gigs and soon got gigs comin up in Nottingham.

id just like to thank everyone who has helped me along the way, Nik, Al and phish for teachin me the basics of bass so i cud get learnin! and also just everyone who has come to our gigs, gave us encouragement and told us their is a future! I LOVE YOU.

To our enemies and all the people who come on this site with nothin good to say, you are sad pathetic people who are angry becus you have crap worthless lives, stop comin on this site and block us from sendin emails if you want but it just proves my point, you really are sad!

HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL AT THE FLAPPER!

alright mark! you will be sadly missed by both the friends and members of surplus! i know we had our odd patc a while back..but still i want to thank you for giving me the opportinity to front a band...which i never thought i could do! but now im i chumpstate, and i belive i got there through surplus giving me a booster and hopefully ive gotten a bit better to..and continue to do so!

anyway..back to you leaving...i know the band will miss you..your like there parents..who raised them from the birth of begginers to what they are now...now its time for them to leave your wing and fend for themselfs! but knowing u im sure it wont bethe last we see of you on the surplus front im sure you will be helping out and routing for them :)

anyway take care mark, you have been a good mate this last year or so! and hope we continue to be mates when you all the way in london...sob sob! ohh yeah ur ding my film aswell :P

i know ill probably see you tomorrow but good luck with the future, and good luck to surplus`s new future!

it makes it very hard for me to leave when you see so many people comin upto you on the net and in xls askin why im leavin and tellin me it wont be the same!

i love the band as people may kno but actin has been my life since i was born infact you cud almost say i was born to be an actor hehe BUT when you got sommat that youve brought up, worked hard on and now startin to reap the rewards i find it a sad moment in my life to leave... i cant believe when i say to myself in two days you will not be in the band sob sob!

as ollie said this will not be the last time you see breezeblok...he will be around helpin out just not on the stage everyweek... as we speak im arrangin us to go to london on a festival bein held!

well make sure you get to the flapper on tuesday 30th cus its my last gig and i want everyone their...friends and enemies, its time to come together and scrap the differences!!!!!

Potebtially with fx pedals,if im allowed to keep them. dont leave mark.
