In order to know whether you bleed like I bleed, you have to know the reasons why I bleed You see, I bleed when I think about this thing we call life Have you ever notice It’s not your enemies that stabs you with the knife And it makes me shed so many tears that my eyes r now bloodshot That against me my so-call friends would even try to plot So I bleed I bleed when I look at the way our world is today It seems the people with little or no actions are the ones that have so much to say So I bleed….. . I bleed every time I see our young men on the corner selling rocks Cuttin’ and dodging corners trying to run from the cops Just because they wanted to make some quick cash, Somebody should have told them brothers that cash would never last But maybe somebody did, but they refuse to hear their voice Which now leaves them with only one choice The right to remain silient, and to be position face down their only freedom of speech is Silience which is …NO SOUND So they blame the White man for being locked up in the Belly of the Beast (prison) When It’s because of their stupidity that the white man can feast So I bleed I’m bleeding so much I’m going into SHOCK Can somebody please HELP me!!!! But you don’t here me though You walk around blind like you don’t even know, You see me bleeding but you going on punctuating my wound So I have no other choice but to bleed You see my blood ain’t , red, purple, or blue it’s black Because we as a people are constantly falling off track Can you see from whence my blood flows? Or are you too busy living life that you really don’t care You know what I think? Never mind I ain’t gonna even go there. On second hand maybe I will Because the reason why I bleed is because of you I’m talkin’ to you Muderer! You see you have kill so many people dreams By the poison you spew out your mouth And yet you act like you don’t know what my bleedings all about But you’re not alone because here come the rapist , Who go around and you rape our communities and strip them until there’s nothing left But drugs on our streets, and the ABC store on the corner Got our people begging for more Of that dirty water call death, he cares about no one but him self Then u ask why do I bleed? I’m bleeding so much that I’m going into a coma my reactive mind is takin’ over But I refuse to stop bleeding even though I may die Until someone Pays attention and listen to my cry that has now become loud, because some people R too damn proud to admit that they r bleeding too They walk around clueless like they have no clue Yet I bleed for them but I don’t think I’m going to make it through the night I BLED so much blood tryin to make things right!!!
