A shadow silently stalking
between thoughts and dreams
A victim running blindly
Through forests and streams

Beaten and abused by all
Loved by none all alone
The shadow looked up
towards a sun that's never shone

The shadow shrieked aloud
Wild angry and tormented
This shadow calmed down
And slowly so slowly repented

This self-destructive shadow
Encased in ever repeating hate
Found a shining ray of hope
That shined it�s light on it�s fate

Now the shadow is a person
And I no longer feel torn
She makes my life beautiful
She has made me alive and reborn
