IT doesn't matter
when seen with kaleidoscope eyes
from the rooftops of windy cites
where pigeons roost but never fly
and the only statue safe
sleeps silent in glass blown walls

and

IT doesn�t really know
feelings, felt beating in a stony heart
no pulse flows through granite veins
to throb in private parts
nor to warm a gray worn breast
carved coldly harsh.

and

IT doesn�t care
there can be no earthly reason
logic confined to flesh and bone
of which, cast stone has no such treason
safe behind glass blown walls
where there are no pigeons.
