There is still longing
My heart still exists
I am still that friend
Once on top your list

Kept in my memory
Of the times gone by
Days of recollecting
So much of you and I

Mind full of dreams
We shared the night
The fun and laughter
Once there was light

I wrote those words
You kept me strong
Replying with smiles
You strummed along

Drifting in memories
My thoughts of you
A heart without end
Still searches for you

Hear was I yearning
In listening my heart
Do we give reasons
Of why we drift apart
