My parents

She puts up with it
I'm not sure why
The things he says to her
Makes her cry

He yells and screams
And she backs down
I suppose that's why
when I see her
It's always with a frown

She tries to put up a brave face
Tries not to look so out of place

Yeah he loves her
Or so he says
But with his relentless bicker
You would never guess

And to you I must confess
These are my parents

The ones who made me to see the truth
Even if i'm in my youth
To see the arguments and hear the fights
And know I can't cure it with all my might
