The day I saw the whole world cry,

I watched as thousands lost there lives;

An empty void that that will never fill,

Will be remembered forever still;

We stand united hand in hand,

With banners unfurled across the land;

We pledge allegiance with free will,

In silent prayer forever still;

Though we were shaken we wont fall,

We'll stand together large and small;

Just like the cross on Calgary's hill,

They'll be remembered forever still:
