Words Fade Over Time

Each time that I write
I�m swallowing tears
I cannot get beyond
Being choked by fears

I�m killing each word
Stabbing every verse
Each tear that I taste
Became my own curse

Poetry once flowing
Alike the endless sea
Words I now drown
In despair and misery

It�s there deep inside
Thoughts are sealed
Words turn to liquid
Till my heart as healed

Since you lost touch
I�ve fell into decline
Sinking to oblivion
Words fade over time
