To all who may be concerned:

Hi it's me Shelly, most of you know me at the Meadow, I am also Joyce's sister. Anyway, just a little note to let you know that Joyce's surgery is over [it was actually scheduled for tomorrow, but the situation worsened over the weekend], and she is in the recovery-room. Since her doctor's have assured her that she will be home in a week, the Meadow will reopen on Tuesday Sept. 3rd.

It broke her heart to close the Meadow for these two weeks, but there was no way that I could have taken care of it by myself. The URL is unchanged, and everything is as it was before. [Well, I am changing her seasonal image, but the archives are all there as well as your last posts.] I did place a password page on the front, which will be removed Tuesday. Joyce will resume the Club and e-zine as her recovery progresses. She is deeply touched by all of the wonderful cards, inquiries, get well wishes, and a very special poem...and thanks each and every one of you for your beautiful prayers.

This surgery was something that was recommended and encouraged for a very long time now. She fought it all the way, but the past 6 months have been unbearable for her until she had no choice. Thank God it's over for the most part.

Please know this..Joyce loves her Meadow, and her Meadowlarks too.

Hope to see you all Tuesday,
And as Joyce would say..
....see you at the Meadow!! <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.mutingtonsmeadow.com/">http://www.mutingtonsmeadow.com/</a> or
