 Hearts gray
like heaven’s intuition
of an impending gale

White Terns and Puffins
sport proud plumage

now thrust recklessly
and seek
safety

Lightening
begets thunder,
echoes of instability
to stretch Atlantic
from distant lands and seas

The seabirds hear

Outlying roars
beckon chaos to fuel
the winds

Sparce sprigs
cower
beneath serene colors
fluttering
with dingy hues

Of isolated
dissenting whispers

The heavens
know

We all do
