The side of love where sunshine hides its face,
Where darkness spreads its wings without the wind,
Consumes my heart inside this bitter place
Where wicked pay the price for all their sin.
I’ve tried to stop the tears and stand in pride
But sorrow once again finds home in me.
I’m drowning in the sea of tears I hide.
Come sail your ship of love upon my sea.
The violent waves are high but love is strong.
The depths of sorrow cannot measure love.
The light of hope inside cannot be wrong.
I taste sweet promise of Heaven above.
Through all the waves of doubt and wounded trust,
We set our sails and drift through sorrow’s thrust.
