She reminds me of a thought that I once had
Thought long ago in past days when I was glad
A simple smile this thought would always bring
That it�s way to easy to put a guys heart on a string

Now I know she could tell me essentially anything
And she would have to give me just about nothing
Because I�m besotted with this most beautiful girl
Who with a glance throws my emotions in a swirl

Despite the wear and tear I still think it�s fair
Even if I know she will never really ever care
Because I can always hope one day she�ll look at me
And the love in my eyes for her she�ll lovingly see
