Torment of A Nation
On a cool September morning
Underneath a New York sky
There came two birds of silver
Bringing death to those that fly
Twin towers in the distance
Standing stately tall and proud
Wearing red, white and blue
With the robe of death it's shroud
Made of concrete and metal
The walls of glass came down
Death and its destruction
Came to New York town
Bin Laden was that evil
That bore the plan so great
A plan, a master coup
The Destruction, America's fate
His terror will not reign
In a land of many hearts
This family will hold together
It will not come apart
No amount of mass destruction
Can undo what has been wrought
While America falls upon its knees
Bin Laden will be sought
No mastermind of evil
Nor man with his great plans
Will kill America's Masters
Or her people from many lands
A nation of all colors
A proud home, a land of the free
A nation under God
That shines from sea to sea
Beware our peaceful nature
America's anger can be great
To defend our family's nation
Untold measures she we take
The torment of a nation
Will not go down in loss
The U.S.A. will rise again
To show them who is boss
