Terry meets up with the sheriff outside the inn. "Any luck?"

"No, they gotta be long gone by now." the sheriff says as he walks back towards the station.

"Alright, I'll probably come back around these parts again sometime. Until then, see ya." Terry turns the opposite way and starts to walk away. Terry's trenchcoat whips around in the wind as he walks. After a short time, he sees three sets of tracks, human.

I wonder... Maybe these tracks belong to that little group. No harm in looking.

Terry walks silently, slowly following the quickly disappearing tracks. Soon the tracks are mostly covered by dirt and sand, barely visible, but he keeps following his gut on this one.
