我同意同學絕對有自由決定買或不買明愛獎券。因為做善事必須出於自願。
在每一年的四旬期，我也有向同學解釋克己的意義。我們不要求同學額外付出，只要求大家把克己留下的金錢捐獻出來。比方說，今天少吃一包紫菜，明天少喝一瓶可樂等。這樣，一個星期節省下來，肯定已不止二十元。我想，買明愛獎券的情況也是一樣。
替人家籌款是頗吃力不討好的事，籌得太少，又覺得幫不到人；積極籌募，又好像強人所難。因此，如何在兩者間取衡也是一門學問。
但我最終都認為，有能力推輪椅總較坐輪椅來得幸福。
同學們，請珍惜這有資格施恩予人的福份吧！只要你惜福，一切做善事的機會都會變成你的樂趣。
