2000年 45th Anniversary Openday 是按照原本的「小搞」計劃改良而來的，並非如你所講「只是姚老師臨時提出」的。因為我們發現原來的「小搞」所付出的代價仍是不少，而效果卻成疑，於是經過開會反復討論，便決定來一個「中搞」了！因此，跟四十周年比，Open Day 和 Album 的規模都是小了很多的。而我所說的「按計劃辦事」是針對減低籌備五十周年校慶可能帶來的壞影響而設想的，並非是對四十五周年作出的批評。

至於五十周年想點搞，真是十畫未有一撇，還是先聽聽大家的意見吧，因為校慶是屬於每一個濟記人的。其實，大家不妨在不同層面（籌款、開幕禮、同樂日、比賽、開放日、紀念品、敘餐……）為我們多提供意見。
不過，老實說，我自己感覺到最難籌備的項目，是敘餐。因為全港能開一百圍酒席以上的地方僅餘灣仔會展和九龍灣會展，而且收費很貴。若只是甘心筵開五、六十席，可以說是壓力全無（因為修士、退休老師跟現任老師、職員和工友已佔去了十席，尚餘五十席，即每一屆校友只准十二人參加，而在學的學生（包括表演的同學）和家長則不可以參加），但一定向隅者眾。
我試舉一例：我第一班中五學生（八四年的五丁班）的周年敘會，也經常維持二十多人的出席率，但那只是一班，不是一屆。可想而知，一屆只有十二個名額是不可行的。
但如移師會展，則可解決圍數（會展可擺數百圍）的問題，但又可能會被校友批評校慶敘餐只是富人的玩意。正如某位前人在此留言說，香港經濟不好，會影響參加者的意願。故此，如在會展設宴，結果又是得六十圍，那又何必去會展呢？
對此，我心中雖有小許解決的頭緒，但時機未成熟，暫且不方便不負責任地在此胡吹，故先請大家發表高見，因為，你們隨時會照顧到一些我們忽略了的地方。

加上課室, 禮堂都可以容納近百圍的人數.

如果當時啟德機場的工程還未展開的話,咁啟德機場都未嘗唔好.
