Last night was a "no win situation" for Detroit as we played both W. Ky. and La-Lafayette this season.

If Lafayette wins - the Cajuns RPI improves (which helps us), the Hilltoppers RPI falls (which hurts us), and our lost against Lafayette "looks" better.

If W. Ky. wins - the Hilltoppers RPI improves (which helps us), the Cajun's RPI falls (which hurts us), and our win against W. Ky. "looks" a little stronger.

As far as other predictions...

Turn off the RPI watch for the next 4 games. The next three, and maybe even four, games will help our RPI very little because our opponents (YSU, CSU, and our first round opponent) have poor RPIs (200+).

Although I am a HUGE Titan fan and would love to see the Titans participate in post-season play, chances for an NIT bid I believe, even if we get to the HL Final, are slim - very slim - at best. Boy, I would be very happy to be wrong about this prediction.

As much as I hate to say this... it is looking like the Big Dance or Bust this season.
