Mystery moans in agony, and quickly, th' first pup appears from beneath her tail. She heaves, and the pup is born. Grimacing in a lupine manner, she reaches down, ripping th' umbilical with her teeth and popping th' fetal sac. Licking the puppy, she pulls it to her chest, where it struggles around in her thick fur. When it finds a teat, th' dark pup proceeds to suckle noisily, causing her to smile, but her bit of happiness is interupted by another contraction. She whines as she squeezes another pup out. As soon as she has bit through th' umbilical, another sloppy roll of placenta drops unexpectedly out. She looks confused, but happy. Nipping th' placentas, she licks th' two new pups, both black, and ushers them to her stomach. As one pup dries, you see it is really tan, not black after all. She manages a forced grin at Ivory Mask and waits for th' other pups.
