Untangling his spindly legs, he arranged them sloppily beneath him. The ratio of legs to body appeared to be about 1,248:1, but Daybreak appeared unphased. With little grace, he slowly raised his behind into the air, straightening his back legs and leaving the front collapsed on the ground. From this precarious position, he grinned to himself, shrill laughter shaking his thin torso and sending him tumbling to the ground. Oops...

Star watched the proceedings with fatherly pride, stiffling a smile as he silently watched the foal tumble to the ground. No worries about this colt. Daybreak was strong as they come.
