The colt stared wide eyed as the adults gather around him. Feeling very shy suddenly, he recoiled, his entire frame leaning back. Wishing to be closer to his mother, the little one again attempted to find his feet. Much more accustommed to the process of standing, the foal was on his feet again in half the time. Now, however, he was facing the correct mare and everyone else seemed to simply dissapear. All legs, he lost no time in stumbling awkwardly to her side, thrusting a questing muzzle in the right spot on his second try. The foal began drinking with gusto, his fuzzy tail swishing in satisfaction. He paused his meal long enough to sneak a curious glance over his shoulder at the small gathering. The cremello gave a tiny snort, bold blue eyes full of wonder. Drops of milk clung to the long whiskers 'round his teacup muzzle. The foal tossed his head to shake them off, over balanced, and fell into his mother's warm side. Catching himself just in time, the young one remembered his mission and quickly hid his nose under the mare's flank once more.
