 As the strange beast moved toward him, the colt lept backward. Somehow his too-long legs managed to tangle during the quick movement and the little one landed in a pile a few feet from the feline. He snorted cautiously, neck craning every which way as if to see the odd creature from a different view. With a soft snort, he extended a velvet muzzle, sniffing warily.
