 He had made his decision, and in Star's logical mind that left no room for elaborate pretenses or beating around the bush. "Daylite, I'm getting old, but I need another chance. At fatherhood. I wondered if you would completely object to mothering a child by me." His deep eyes, always startling in their soft brown presence were bright with undecipherable emotion.
