:the colt grins in spite of himself as he avoids the prodding of the bay filly. he backs away and kicks a bit of water at her: Nothing. I'm fine, really. :in fact, he really was fine. just solemn, as always. that was just him, and would have thought that Cat would've known that. but she was growing, differently than he. so maybe she'd forgotten:
