She smiles and nods, whispering rather wistfully to no one "I suppose so." She too drops her head to a separate patch of grass- where was that rain when it was needed?- and nibbles at it. The small golden colt that has been following her ((I forgot about him! I'm going to make a great mother someday...)) pokes his head out to snuffle at the ground then peer curiously at the new mare, his long lashed eyes blinking in the bright sunlight.
