Have you ever had a moment,
When all your life has changed?
have you ever really listened,
To what your parents said?
Were you ever really focused,
During all those days at school?
Were you paying much attention,
Or were you acting like a fool?
Why is it, as kids we're told,
To act as if we're old?
When after years of doing it,
"Be young" is what we're told.
What is the point of growing up,
If youth is all you crave?
Why do we all continue on,
Until we're in our grave?
