Ralen's eyes scanned along the runes, reading it to himself, memorizing all that he can see. His memory was quite good, and if he memorized the directions he could share that information to Ethren, and they could find this hidden vale...and destroy it. His eyes looked up from them, as Seriema, still eyeing Tamahome in somewhat of a comical way finally came over her senses and turned her eyes towards Ralen.
Well? What does it say?
She glanced over by the scroll, turned Ralen's way so that Seriema would have to read upside down. She turned her head askew until she couldn't take it and turned it over to her way.
I was reading it sorceress! He hissed towards her.
Seriema ignored him and looked towards the runes herself, trying to remember, until she blurted it out.
Go towards where the sun and moon always rise, following the sounds of the birds as they...
..As they chirp their songs in the morning dew. Observe the leaves and follow the direction they lead you to. The trees will turn to rubble, the foliage turn to brown. Cross the twirling winds, delusional mentalities placed upon your mind. Seek the jade dragon, watching down on all the land.
Ralen said proudly, already memorizing the first paragraph easily as Seriema glanced a look towards him.
Tamahome, finally after still daydreaming heard the words and looked towards them. He shot a look at Ralen.
What does it all mean? Cross the twirling winds? Find the jade dragon?
Seriema heard "jade dragon" and she thought of Zavahl. No, Zavahl was gone....so what did they mean about the jade dragon?
The Desert of Twirling Winds...don't you know anything about your Aelouriun history? Ralen spat angerly, but seeing that his cover was being blown he closed his eyes and opened them again, looking towards Rowan this time. Ralen grinned.
Tamahome spoke up, a little angered.
I was never taught it, do you have a problem with that?
Calm down cranky. Seriema was forced to say towards him. Eversince Lunitai left you kind of lost it.
Tamahome looked at her evily yet did not answer. He hated being teased.
Well let me enlighten you then. The Desert of Twirling Winds....no one has ever made it...alive. It's name is famous for the dirt devils that blow and the high winds. It also releases high winds in your mind. You see, one that is physically stong can't make it. They start to go crazy. Desillusional mentalities...if your mental strength is stable then you'll have no trouble.
Ralen said, looking all high and mighty at that point. Tamahome frowned. His mental stability...was weak. He was troubled, he would go crazy first. He sank, yet thought of Lunitai and rose back up.
Then lets start this journey!
Well that's better then you flying into your little world lover boy. Seriema couldn't resist and snickered. This is when Tamahome got angered and drew his sword.
Let's just get on with this!
Calm down, you take things too seriously!
Maybe if you knew what I went through you would see! He yelled and turned back around. He wasn't feeling quite like himself after Lunitai entered into his life. It was like she perminentely(sp?) scarred and woven something deep into his heart, which he couldn't get over.
