Subject: program locked up cant scroll or select

I was moving up through the guide seeing what was on when the guide just froze in place..the remote wont do anything??? is there a cure for this ...I reprogramed my autorolling avr last nite and it hasnt been the same since ..I got tv but not smooth like before ..screen blacks out every 2 hours or so for 40 seconds at a time ..then i was getting error message ..after rebooting it worked again now froze up..any cures??
