Subject: Canoe Polo 2001

We need to get some things happening in our region, there are lots of people who want to play polo so I am suggesting we organise our annual general meeting and make sure that things start happening. From the number of people I have spoken to recently I know there is support for a lot of stuff to be happening but it does need a body of sorts to coordinate things. If we want to have a competition this year it will happen, we will be able to play polo in the new pool at QEII but it is going to take a bit of pushing and to do this we need an organisation. At the moment MCPA has become dormant because no one is pushing to get things going, I'm happy to make things happen but it cannot be done by one person alone.
