Yeah I thought the same at first too james...and you didnt misread it. The thing is he wasn't the author...hmmmm
I think Merlyn just wants to defuse the issues and smooth the way ......(his reasoning is for the best, but the logic confuses the truth) and the post, trivial as it is wasn't written by him. Oh well its not important....there isnt any damage done...its just sad thats all he could think to post here!!
The only odd person thats not been here is the one that claims to be "a random [d] member"....the one that said
"its sad that i write down IP's"...is either new at quake or young? There are well over a thousand threads on this forum....we have logs from servers much longer...all these records come in handy.
But in either regard, If I was going to say who wrote the original message I would had done that in my first posting...and no sorry you wont be able to prompt me to. I can email you the full transcripts if you really need to see the whos and whys? But then of course you would have to tell us who you are...and leave a real name and e-mail! If you want further information or for me to answer your questions you will have to offer that. Strange that you too are so snappy yet you don't know me.?? THANKS ICE
