i noticed the thread, and have a little bit of friendly advice for you guys.. this is how pfd gets in our tdm practice. we tried doing the organized practice thing like you guys.. actually we used to try to get them on saturdays at 12 noon every week.. but usually people either had other stuff goin on or (like me) usually slept in. so our way of countering that is just anytime 2 pfd meet up in a server, one of us will go and check the others pfd servers for clan guys, and if we find two more, we all get together on rocks server and someone uses rcon to change it to tdm, then we kick all non pfd members (sorry guys) and have tdm practice that way, and we're all notified of this, so whenever we see rocks server set to tdm, we all know its a team practice and are encouraged to come in and join.. the other day we got 7 pfd in one server just based on this technique alone with no prior notice, so you guys might want to try something similar if you really want to get serious about practicing tdm.. and yes it is very different from ffa just like ice says, your primary goal in ffa is to simply roam around killing everything in sight, in tdm you'll want to claim an area with your team mates, with each one covering an enterance or exit and maybe a guy or two in the middle to catch any strays.. those are just the basics and obviously stuff gets a lot more complicated than that. just offering a little tactical advice between good competators :)
